After listening to the report of the provincial National Assembly representative, Cam Lam commune voters were excited and expressed their confidence in the activities of the Nghe An National Assembly delegation at the session and at the same time proposed many issues of concern.

Regarding support programs for people to escape poverty, voter Lo Van Khay, Cai village stated that according to the Government's Program 135 on socio-economic development for extremely disadvantaged communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, Cam Lam commune has implemented many programs to develop livestock production, but has not yet achieved positive results.

Citing specific examples, voter Khay said that when the Sind crossbred cows were brought to the people, the breed quality was not guaranteed, the cows did not develop healthily, people were confused and encountered many difficulties in raising them.

Therefore, voters recommend that when implementing projects, the commune government should be the investor to choose animal and plant varieties suitable for local climate and soil conditions, thereby limiting risks.

Voter Luong Van Hoan, Bach Son village expressed concern that while poor households enjoy many policies and support programs, near-poor households have difficulty accessing loans. Voters suggested that attention should be paid to and policies should be changed to help near-poor households escape poverty sustainably.

Voter Lo Van Hoan, Cai village expressed concern about the "degradation" of morality and the loss of traditional culture of the people, especially in ethnic minority villages.

“In the past, when life was still difficult and poor, people were highly aware of cultural traditions and maintained morality and qualities. Now, when life is increasingly developed, the situation is completely opposite,” said the voter. Therefore, the State needs to have sanctions to tighten, preserve, maintain and promote national cultural identity.

Voter Ha Van Trong, Cong village, reported that when building Chi Khe hydropower plant, people were informed of the land compensation price list with 3 rates, the lowest was 12 thousand VND/m2, the highest was 29 thousand VND/m2. But in reality, people are enjoying the price of 15 thousand VND/m2.

“With this price, one meter of land of the people is not worth a bowl of pho” – the voter confided. Therefore, the people here hope that the authorities and sectors will reconsider to increase the land compensation price for the people. Besides, after reclaiming the land to build hydroelectric power plants, it means that the people’s production land is narrowed. Therefore, they hope to be interested in supporting the people with plants and animal breeds to develop production.

Also located in the area around Chi Khe hydropower plant, voter Truong Van Hong (Lien Hong village) reported that every time the hydropower plant stores water, the water level rises, causing the village's rural roads to be flooded, seriously affecting people's travel and production.
