Farmers face difficulties in applying for scientific patents

(Baonghean.vn) - 'Let's untie the mechanisms of granting scientific patents to farmers' - That is the recommendation of voter Anh Son at the meeting with National Assembly delegates.

After listening to the provincial National Assembly representative quickly report the results of the 4th session of the 14th National Assembly, voters of Thach Son commune participated in petitioning many issues of concern.

Voter Tran Quoc Ha (Head of the District Agricultural Station) suggested: "Let's untie the science and technology mechanisms", including "openness" in recognizing the scientific innovations of farmers and establishments, in order to encourage farmers to actively innovate in agricultural production.

The ultimate goal is to help farmers promptly put those inventions into production, limit copyright risks and increase production value.

Voters cited that in 2010, when a widespread chicken epidemic occurred, voters personally researched a new method of preventing and fighting chicken epidemics using herbs and successfully replicated it in many localities, helping to push back the epidemic.

The voter's invention has been reported to the Department of Science and Technology, but so far it has encountered difficulties in granting a scientific patent.

Voter Hoang Van Thong expressed his excitement and trust in the leadership of the Party and State, and at the same time reflected that the Party's policies and guidelines when reaching the people still have many shortcomings.

The reason is that some cadres are not specific in implementing policies and regulations, causing confusion for the people.
