8 Nghe An students will participate in the national Young Champion contest

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 29, 126 primary school students of Vinh City attended the 16th Young Champion Festival and the calligraphy contest "Handwriting and Humanity" for the 2017-2018 school year.

This is a meaningful activity held annually by Children's Newspaper - Hong Ha Stationery Joint Stock Company and Nghe An Department of Education and Training.

Participating in the "Young Champion" Festival, contestants will take 3 multiple-choice tests in Math, Vietnamese, and Natural and Social Sciences within 55 minutes and the "Handwriting and Personality" handwriting test within 20 minutes.

At this program, the Organizing Committee also launched a nationwide competition. After 16 years of organization, this is truly a useful and interesting activity to encourage primary school students to improve their cultural knowledge and beautiful writing skills. This is also a place for students and teachers in primary schools across the city to exchange and share experiences.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 First Prizes, 16 Second Prizes, 24 Third Prizes and 78 Encouragement Prizes to contestants in the two categories of “Young Champion” and “Handwriting and Humanity”. The 8 contestants who won First Prizes will be given special privileges to attend the Young Champion Final Round at the end of April at the Temple of Literature (Hanoi).
