Enforced recovery of nearly 2 thousand square meters of land for the DKC Petroleum Depot Project
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 1, Nghi Loc District People's Committee organized the compulsory recovery of 1,925 square meters of land in Tan Long hamlet, Nghi Thiet commune and handed it over to the DKC Petroleum Depot Project.
The land lot to be forcibly recovered consists of 2 plots. The first plot has an area of 1,225 m2 and is jointly owned by Mr. and Mrs. Vu Thi Dung, Ms. Vu Huu Hanh, Ms. Vu Thi Hong, Ms. Vu Thi Thanh, Ms. Vu Thi Tue, Ms. Vu Thi Thuy, and Ms. Vu Huu Nuoi. The second plot has an area of 700 m2 and is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Vu Thi Van Ho, Ms. Vu Thi Han, Ms. Vu Thi Huong, Ms. Vu Huu Khuong, Ms. Vu Thi Lien, Ms. Vu Thi Nga, Ms. Vu Huu Suong, and Ms. Vu Huu Duong. Since 1991, these 2 plots have been left vacant and unoccupied. The only assets on the land are some walls and trees.

In order to carry out the work of compensation and site clearance for the DKC Petroleum Depot Project, the People's Committee of Nghi Loc District and the People's Committee of Nghi Thiet Commune have repeatedly organized propaganda and mobilized related households to cooperate in providing land use right records and guidance on preparing inheritance records as a basis for preparing compensation and support records for these two plots of land, but the families did not cooperate, and at the same time, many of the recommendations were not in accordance with state regulations. The recommendations of the households have been answered in writing twice by the District Compensation and Site Clearance Council.
Due to the long time of BTGPMB, although the authorities from commune to district have mobilized, the 15 related households still did not cooperate to declare and sign the compensation and support records. Therefore, Nghi Loc District People's Committee has applied the implementation of compulsory inventory records, enforced compulsory inventory, completed the records and issued the Land Acquisition Decisions, Decisions approving the compensation and support plan for the above 2 land plots. After the District BTGPMB Council announced 3 times the payment of compensation and support, the households did not come to receive the money and sign the site handover records.

To ensure project progress, Nghi Loc District People's Committee completed the compulsory dossier to recover two land plots belonging to the DKC Petroleum Depot Project according to Decision 2080/QD-UBND and Decision 2081/QD-UBND on the same date of October 24, 2017 on compulsory land recovery.
At exactly 8:00 a.m. on December 1, the land reclamation work was carried out safely and in accordance with the law. Currently, 1,925 square meters of land belonging to the DKC Petroleum Depot Project has been repossessed by the Nghi Loc District People's Committee and handed over to the Project for construction as planned.
