Ky Son Commune (Tan Ky) reaches the new rural finish line

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 5, the Provincial New Rural Area Appraisal Team came to appraise the new rural area construction program in Ky Son commune, Tan Ky district.

Implementing the new rural construction program, Ky Son commune has mobilized resources with a total cost of more than 301 billion VND, of which the people's internal resources contributed 213.362 billion VND to complete the criteria. The criteria of roads from the commune to the hamlets are hardened, creating favorable conditions for people to travel, promoting socio-economic development in the area.

Up to now, the average income per capita has reached 30.1 million VND/person/year, the poverty rate has decreased to 3.7%. The total number of people of working age with jobs has reached 91.18%; Cultural facilities from commune to hamlet have been upgraded and completed to better serve the needs of cadres and people.

After listening to the report and visiting the actual criteria, the members of the Provincial Appraisal Council agreed with the assessment of Ky Son commune and the District People's Committee on the content of the criteria for building new rural areas that have been achieved.

Representatives of the Departments and Branches also pointed out a number of points that need to be continued to strive and build in order to continuously improve the quality of the criteria, including attention to improving material life, social security, and traffic criteria; at the same time, they requested Ky Son commune to complete the dossier to submit to the Provincial People's Committee to recognize the commune as meeting new rural standards in 2017./.
