Russia, China can attack the US from space
Colonel Rick Zellman, commander of the US Space Brigade, warned that both Russia and China are actively developing space weapons. He fears that in the near future, the two military powers could use these futuristic weapons to surprise the United States.
For this reason, Colonel Rick suggested that the US should focus on developing and designing more types of space-based interception weapons. Rick said: “If an attack occurs, the US satellite system will certainly suffer the most severe consequences.”

Colonel Rick said that to create the most superiority, the US needs to have three times the number of soldiers than China and Russia in the field of space defense. He also revealed that the US is considering investing a huge amount of money in near-space aircraft to replace satellites.
The commander of the space brigade warned that when Russia and China launch massive attacks from space, the US communication system will be severely affected. At that time, the aircraft will not be able to communicate with each other.
Pentagon officials have previously acknowledged that both Russia and China are pouring billions of dollars into space-based weapons. Today, 80 percent of U.S. military hardware is supported by satellites. If the satellite network fails, these weapons will be “blind.”
“While we are not at war in space, we cannot say that we are at peace,” Vice Admiral Charles Richard said earlier this year. “I agree that the best way to prevent war is to prepare for war. The United States needs to ensure that our people are ready to fight and win any war, including in space.”
Russia and China are now focusing their resources on developing anti-satellite weapons, aircraft and hypersonic missiles. In addition, space attack forces are also being focused on. Military expert Peter Singer once said: "Whoever controls the sky controls the ground."
