Through the work of grasping the area and information from the grassroots, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong Province (PC44) recently discovered on National Highway 10 a female subject showing signs of illegally transporting a "huge" amount of drugs in the direction from Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh to Hai Phong, Quang Ninh.

This subject specializes in using cars but often changes between taxis and buses and moves continuously.

After a period of monitoring and using professional measures, detectives from PC44 have clearly understood the methods, tricks and moves of this "female monster" and decided to "take the bait".

At around 4:00 a.m. on December 6, PC 44 detectives coordinated with Tu Ky District Police to intercept and arrest Truong Thi Thach (born in 1961, in Niem Nghia Ward, Le Chan District, Hai Phong City) while transporting a large amount of drugs including: 3 heroin cakes, 1kg of crystal meth and more than 2,000 synthetic drug pills right at km 43+800, National Highway 10 (in the area of Quy Cao village, Nguyen Giap, Tu Ky district, Hai Duong province).

Thach hid all the drugs deep under 60 fermented pork rolls in a white handbag in the trunk of a taxi with license plate 30A-64863 driven by a driver in Tuyen Quang.

At the police station, Thach confessed to transporting the above drugs for someone from Thanh Hoa to Hai Phong for a fee of 10 million VND.

The case is currently under further investigation by the police.
