At first, the family raised 3 cows, now the number of cows has increased to 15, of which 6 are in the milking period, on average, each day after deducting expenses, 6 cows bring in over 1 million VND in income.

Regarding care and disease prevention, it is necessary to regularly clean the barn, kill mosquitoes and flies, apply proper technical procedures, and vaccinate cows periodically to avoid diseases such as cholera, foot and mouth disease, and septicemia. To ensure input costs and milk quality, in addition to fresh grass, he also feeds cows with mixed feed such as corn stalks and corn, rice bran, and other by-products. On average, a dairy cow eats 10kg of mixed feed and 20kg of fresh grass per day.

Currently, in Dong Tam parish, in addition to Ms. Hien's family and Mr. Luyen's family, there are other farming households such as Mr. Thoai's family, Mr. Danh's family... with a scale of raising 15-20 dairy cows. According to the dairy farmers here, while in the past, raising pigs and chickens encountered many difficulties, raising dairy cows is a direction that brings high income. Because the output of dairy products is quite stable, the purchasing points are arranged reasonably, so farmers are very confident in investing in raising livestock. With their economic life improving day by day, the people of Dong Tam parish have also actively contributed money to serve the economic and social development in the locality, contributing to building their homeland more and more prosperous.
Ms. Vo Thi Huyen - Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia An commune said: "Currently, in hamlets 10A and 10B of Dong Tam parish, there are 35 households raising dairy cows with high income. Households here have boldly converted crops and livestock to bring a great source of income for their families. In the coming time, we will continue to propagate and replicate the model so that everyone can learn and follow."
