Huge bomb discovered while leveling house floor

(Baonghean.vn) - While leveling the house foundation in Pieng Pho village, Pha Danh commune, Mr. Lau Chong Vu's family suddenly discovered a "huge" bomb with the fuse still intact.

Accordingly, on December 7, Mr. Lau Chong Vu's family, in block 3 of Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, rented an excavator to level the house foundation, but in Pieng Pho village, Pha Danh commune, they were "shocked" to discover a bomb on the land owned by the family.

After that, Mr. Vu's family reported to the authorities of Huu Kiem commune and the Military Command of Ky Son district.

Through inspection, it was determined that the bomb was 1.2 meters long, 45 cm in diameter, located nearly 10 meters deep from the ground, weighed about 350 kg, and still had the fuse intact.

On the same afternoon, the Military Command of Ky Son district coordinated with the authorities of Pha Danh commune to move the bomb out of the residential area to ensure safety and will promptly destroy it according to regulations.
