The "Green Future" program is bustling in the poor commune of Thanh Chuong

(Baonghean.vn) -In 2 days (December 9-10), Nghe An Green Journey organization coordinated with Thanh Tung Commune Youth Union (Thanh Chuong) to implement the program "Green Future" to experience reality in the locality.

Thanh Tung is a poor commune of Thanh Chuong district, often isolated by floods every year, people's lives are still difficult.

On this occasion, more than 30 volunteers from Nghe An Green Journey organization, who are students from universities in Vinh City (Vinh University, Vinh Technical University, Vinh Medical University, etc.), came to Thanh Tung commune to experience the reality. The group traveled by bicycle with green flags to promote environmental protection.

With the spirit of "experience to learn" and working enthusiastically, the group helped the locality clean the environment, beautify the landscape, plant trees on the way to the commune center, martyrs' cemetery... In addition, the group also organized cultural exchanges with the people and presented 20 gifts to policy families and poor students.
