On December 13, Ky Anh District Police (Ha Tinh) arrested Pham Van Thang (34 years old) - a wanted suspect for the crime of Intentional Infliction of Injury.

According to the investigation documents, Tuan and Mr. Vo Xuan Lieu (61 years old, father-in-law) had a long-standing conflict. On May 17, while arguing with his wife, Thang "took it out on the wrong person" and took a homemade sword to Mr. Lieu's house to "talk".

The two sides got into a fight. Thang grabbed a sword and slashed, causing over 11% injury to Mr. Lieu. After committing the crime, Thang fled.

In mid-December, Thang returned home to visit and was ambushed and arrested by the police.

Thang has three previous convictions for robbery, theft and appropriation of property.
