(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of December 15, Van Phan Dien Chau Seafood Joint Stock Company solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its establishment, construction and development.

Van Phan Dien Chau Seafood Joint Stock Company, formerly Dien Chau Seafood Station, was established and operated since November 1947. Over the past 70 years since its establishment, the Company has purchased and processed over 70 thousand tons of seafood raw materials and brought to the market over 100 million liters of quality-assured fish sauce along with tens of thousands of tons of other seafood products to serve the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

With a very low starting point in the difficult conditions of the country in general and the company in particular, each officer, employee, shareholder and worker of the company over many periods has made continuous efforts in building and developing the company as it is today.

Van Phan fish sauce products have become a specialty of Nghe An, present throughout Vietnam and some foreign markets.

In particular, after equitization in 2000, with a small charter capital of 784 million VND, many difficulties, no collateral to borrow from banks, up to now, the capital contributed by shareholders to invest in the company to create conditions for the company to overcome difficulties and stabilize production has increased more than 20 times. Revenue has grown 10 times compared to the beginning of equitization.

From only a few products, the company's product range has now increased to over 30, with beautiful packaging, good quality, reasonable prices and increasingly improved product competitiveness.

Mr. Vo Van Dai, Director of Van Phan Dien Chau Seafood Joint Stock Company, sent his gratitude to generations of company staff who have overcome difficulties together. Provincial and district authorities and functional departments have created the best conditions for the company to operate.

The company strives to continue to be one of the leading units in the province in the production of traditional fish sauce, improving its reputation and product quality in the domestic and international markets.
