Taking advantage of the dark night to climb over the wall to steal orchids

(Baonghean.vn)- Taking advantage of the late night, Le Dinh Hoa and his accomplices committed 12 orchid thefts in Tan Ky district.

On the afternoon of December 15, Tan Ky District People's Court tried the criminal case against Pham Van Thai (born 1990), Ho Xuan Hao (born 1992), Hoang Nghia Dung (born 1993), Dang Xuan Anh (born 1999) and Le Dinh Hoa (born 2000) for the crime of "Theft of property".

According to the indictment, from April 17 to May 12, 2017, Le Dinh Hoa and his accomplices committed 12 cases (including 14 acts) of stealing property, which were orchids, from people living in Tan Ky district, with a total loss of VND 38,300,000.

Previously, Tan Ky District Police received a report from the public about the theft of beautiful orchid pots worth millions of dong belonging to a family.

The criminals often take advantage of the late night to climb over the fence and enter the house to steal many flower pots at once, making people very upset.

Identifying this as a new type of crime, operating professionally, Tan Ky District Police have increased patrols and ambushes to capture these thieves.

Using sharp professional measures, on May 14, 2017, Tan Ky District Police arrested a group of subjects led by Le Dinh Hoa (born 2000), residing in Hamlet 9, Gia De, Nghia Dung Commune, Tan Ky District, for theft of property.

At the investigation agency, the defendants confessed to all their crimes. The panel sentenced Pham Van Thai to 12 months in prison, Ho Xuan Hao to 6 months in prison, Hoang Nghia Dung to 8 months in prison, and Dang Xuan Anh to 9 months of non-custodial reform.

Previously (August 31, 2016), Le Dinh Hoa was sentenced by the Tan Ky District People's Court to 12 months of non-custodial reform for "theft of property". This subject has not yet completed his sentence, so the court sentenced him to 13 months and 25 days in prison.
