Vinh University male student causes a stir when covering a series of famous Vietnamese music hits

(Baonghean.vn) - Every time Nguyen Hoang Kien covers Vietnamese hit songs, his voice attracts hundreds of thousands of views and shares, as well as positive comments from netizens.

Nguyen Hoang Kien (20 years old, Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town, Nghe An) is a third-year student of the Faculty of Information Technology - Vinh University. He is a name that is admired by the online community for his sweet voice when covering famous Vietnamese songs no less than the original.

Most recently, Hoang Kien covered the song "Sau tat ca" by male singer Erik, attracting nearly 30 thousand views, 157 shares and thousands of comments praising his voice. Comments such as "too awesome for live singing", "very good live", "very good singing bro", "so admiring", ... This song was sung by Kien when participating in an extracurricular activity of the English Club, of which Kien is a member.

Previously, Kien also made the online community "stop their hearts" when he covered the hit song "Noi nay co anh" by male singer Son Tung - M-TP. This cover was also as popular as Kien's other covers such as "Sau tat ca" (Erik), "Cham nho tim anh mot chut thoi" (Noo Phuoc Thinh), "Anh nang cua anh" (Duc Phuc)...

Although no one in his family is into music, Kien is gifted with a warm and attractive voice. Hoang Kien has loved singing since he was a child, and because he is shy, Kien rarely shows it. Since becoming a university student and being exposed to many people, Kien has become more comfortable and bold. Thanks to that, Kien's voice has been known and enthusiastically supported by thousands of netizens.

Not having the opportunity to participate in music programs, Kien devoted his passion to music competitions at Vinh University, where he was studying. In 2016, Kien and a friend won third prize when participating in the program "Duet Dinh Ca" organized by the Faculty of Information Technology of Vinh University.

Nguyen Hoang Kien is also an excellent “artist” of Bosse English Club. In the club’s extracurricular programs, Kien is always the main male voice performing hit songs in the Vietnamese music industry. It was also from these performances that Kien became known to the online community and showed love for his youthful voice.

Hoang Kien shared that after his covers, Kien received thousands of Facebookers sending friend requests, hundreds of messages and comments supporting his singing voice. Kien also added that although he loves singing, he still wants to pursue his major in the future.
