At 3:30 a.m. on December 16, Mai Son District Police in coordination with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Son La Provincial Police arrested two subjects transporting drugs on National Highway 4G in Na Ot Commune, Mai Son District, Son La Province.

The two suspects are Trang A Dinh, 37 years old, and Song A Chinh, 28 years old, both residing in Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province. The seized evidence includes 20 kg of opium, 3,000 synthetic drug pills, and some other related evidence.

Arriving at a deserted area, they hid the motorbike in the bushes along the roadside and fled into the forest. After more than 9 hours of searching, the 2 subjects were arrested by Son La Police.

At the police station, the subjects confessed to having bought the above drugs from an unidentified man in the border area of ​​Chieng Khuong commune, Song Ma district, Son La province to sell for profit.
