Deputy Prime Minister cut the ribbon to inaugurate the traditional house and library of Yen Thanh district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 180th anniversary of Yen Thanh district's establishment, the 56th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Vinh Thanh commune and receiving the First Class Labor Medal, on the afternoon of December 16, Yen Thanh district held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the district's traditional house and library.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Vuong Dinh Hue - Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister; Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's Internal Affairs Commission; Nguyen Xuan Thang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Nguyen The Ky - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of the Voice of Vietnam. On the provincial leadership side, there were comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province and representatives of provincial departments and branches. |

Yen Thanh district traditional house and library is designed with 2 floors, total floor area of 1,038 m2. The first floor is the administrative area and reading rooms, book storage; the second floor has rooms displaying traditional artifacts.
The project has a total investment capital of 9 billion 575 million VND, from socialized sources and local budget. After 3 years of construction, the project was completed, ensuring technical and aesthetic quality.

This is a cultural work of political, cultural and humanistic significance, a place to preserve artifacts that were once associated with life, work and fighting to protect the homeland and country, in order to educate traditions for the younger generation; a place for studying and researching for cadres, teachers, students and people, and a destination for tourists when returning to the rice homeland of Yen Thanh.
