The forum is an activity within the plan of the Youth Union and Youth Movement Program of Nghe An province in 2017. With the aim of contributing to improving the quality of study, scientific research, training skills and profession; promoting the emulation movement "Teach well - study well - actively do scientific research" among students.

Speaking at the forum, comrade Le Van Luong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Vice President of the Provincial Student Association shared that scientific research is one of the effective methods for students to expand their knowledge and apply the skills they have learned to solve practical problems.

In recent times, along with the development of the youth union movement, scientific research activities of Nghe An students have made progress in quantity and quality.

However, it is still necessary to admit that this activity has not really attracted and spread. Therefore, through this forum, the Provincial Youth Union hopes that teachers and students will continue to exchange and propose ideas to arouse passion and interest in research. From there, a deeper awareness of the role of scientific research in learning and future careers.

During the 2 hours, students participating in the forum listened to sincere sharing from guest lecturers and students with many achievements in scientific research at Vinh University. Many questions such as: What is scientific research? How to choose a topic, find suitable scientific research documents? How to do scientific research in groups, how to divide work effectively... were raised by the students.

Guests participating in the program gave many valuable advices such as the need to have critical thinking when doing scientific research, the need to choose scientific topics suitable for the field of study and career orientation.
