Speaking at the discussion session, delegate Vuong Quang Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front (deputy of the Provincial People's Council, Yen Thanh district)Rating: XLabor export is an important solution in solving employment, earning foreign currency and building national image and prestige.Currently, the reality is that Nghe An workers in host countries run away when their labor contracts expire, reducing the image and reputation of the province in labor export.

Mr. Minh suggested that in 2018, the Provincial People's Committee and relevant sectors should discuss the causes and propose solutions to overcome the above situation; in the coming time, the province should not only export unskilled labor but also promote the export of highly skilled labor; at the same time, educate the awareness and ethics of labor exporters to contribute to building a sustainable homeland and country.

Regarding this content, delegate Thai Van Thanh - Vice Principal of Vinh University (Yen Thanh district): For a long time, we have been focusing on exporting unskilled labor, not paying attention to highly qualified and skilled labor; many laborers violate the law in other countries, so some countries are hesitant to recruit Nghe An laborers. That requires us to innovate labor export work.

Currently in Nghe An, there are universities, colleges and foreign corporations training qualified and skilled workers according to foreign standards.

"I think we need to pay attention to exporting skilled labor. These workers are trained in awareness, responsibility, and work in a professional environment. Through this team, we can contribute to improving the image of Nghe An workers abroad," said delegate Thanh.

Sharing the same view, delegate Cao Thi Thuy (Dien Chau) affirmed that labor export is one of the solutions for socio-economic development. Many localities have helped eliminate hunger and reduce poverty thanks to labor export.

However, to promote the effectiveness of this work, the State needs to have policies to support labor export such as: Support for labor export and study abroad consulting, support for language learning; at the same time, there must be specific mechanisms to encourage the number of workers in a commune or district in a year.

"For example, in a hamlet, there are 5 workers exporting to large markets who are supported with 3 million VND, of which 70% is for the workers; 30% is for the hamlet to do advocacy work" - Ms. Thuy gave an example.
