Nghe An: Companies under the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc have revenue of over 30,000 billion VND

(Bao nghean.vn) - Enterprises under the Party Committee of Nghe An Business Bloc generated revenue for the whole year of 2017 estimated at more than 33,000 billion VND; contributed to the provincial budget estimated at 2,000 billion VND.

This is the information announced by the Party Committee of the bloc at the Conference to review Party building work in 2017 and deploy tasks for 2018 held on the morning of December 23.

The Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee has 130 grassroots party organizations with over 5,000 party members. In 2017, tTotal annual revenue of affiliated enterprises is estimated at over 33,000 billion VND (up 8.01% over the same period); contribution to the provincial budget is estimated at 2,000 billion VND (accounting for 20% of the province's domestic revenue); contribution to the central budget is over 664 billion VND.

Average income of employees is from 3 to 19 million VND/person/month. As of November 30, 2017, 112/130 basic units have completed paying social insurance and health insurance for employees.

During the year, businesses also contributed nearly 60 billion VND to humanitarian and social security charity programs.

The Party Committee regularly pays attention to political and ideological work, contributing to raising awareness and strengthening the belief of Party members and workers in the Party's innovation cause; spirit and responsibility for the development of enterprises and national construction in the integration period.

The consolidation of grassroots party organizations, the work of monitoring, inspecting and supervising the grassroots situation have been focused on, and many timely solutions have been taken to consolidate and improve the quality of party organizations and party members. Thereby, all aspects of party building at the grassroots have changed positively, contributing to improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of party organizations, completing the assigned tasks.

Acknowledging the efforts to overcome difficulties, promote production and business activities and actively participate in social security activities of affiliated enterprises, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Phan Duc Dong suggested that in 2018, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Enterprise Bloc should closely follow the economic development programs of the Central and the province to lead enterprises to organize production and business in the direction of restructuring enterprises.

At the same time, businesses need to continue to pay attention to investing in innovation of equipment, technology, management and operations to effectively carry out production and business associated with environmental protection, building and developing product brands; expanding markets, improving competitiveness, ensuring jobs and increasing income for workers; training and fostering to improve the quality of human resources.

According to the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee needs to actively innovate its leadership methods, creating clear changes in Party building work and training and developing Party members.

On this occasion, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 grassroots party organizations that achieved the title of exemplary Clean and Strong in 2017; 2 party cells that achieved the title of exemplary Clean and Strong for 5 consecutive years and 5 party members that excellently fulfilled their tasks for 5 consecutive years.

In 2018, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee determined the average growth target of enterprises to reach 8-9%; ensure stable employment for 90% of workers, strive for over 90% of production enterprises to make a profit; fulfill tax obligations to the state; fully and promptly implement social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and other regimes for workers...
