Ky Son: Authorities seize 150 kg of fruit of unknown origin.

(Baonghean.vn) - A truck carrying moldy apples and tangerines of unknown origin to be sold in Ky Son district has been seized.

Lieutenant Colonel To Van Hau, Head of Ky Son District Police, reported that the district police recently discovered, arrested, and processed a case involving the transportation of fruit of unknown origin, seizing 150 kg of fruit.

Specifically, at approximately 11:30 AM on December 22, 2017, in Block 5, Muong Xen town, the traffic control patrol team of Ky Son District Police inspected a car with license plate 37B-007.36, driven by Nguyen Van Tung (born 1970), residing in Hamlet 3, Nam Giang commune (Nam Dan district), traveling on the Vinh – Muong Xen route. The car was transporting 12 boxes of various fruits, with a total weight of 150 kg, and the driver could not present documents proving their origin.
