Ky Son: Seized 150 kg of fruit of unknown origin

(Baonghean.vn) - A truck carrying moldy apples and tangerines of unknown origin to Ky Son district for sale was arrested.

Lieutenant Colonel To Van Hau - Head of Ky Son District Police informed: District police have just discovered, arrested, and handled a case of transporting fruits of unknown origin, seizing 150 kg of fruits.

Specifically, at around 11:30 a.m. on December 22, 2017, at Block 5, Muong Xen town, the traffic control patrol team of Ky Son district police inspected car with license plate 37B-007.36, driven by Nguyen Van Tung (born in 1970), residing in hamlet 3, Nam Giang commune (Nam Dan district), running the Vinh - Muong Xen route. The car was transporting 12 boxes of various fruits, with a total weight of 150 kg, the driver could not present documents proving the origin.
