Girl sets trap to catch her attacker

After being harassed and robbed of her phone in the suburbs of Saigon, the girl texted the "pervert" to beg for her phone back and then called the police to arrest her.

On December 26, Binh Chanh District Police (HCMC) detained Nguyen Thanh Sang (27 years old, from Ben Tre) to investigate the acts of Rape and Robbery.

Around December 21, after work, Ms. Kieu (24 years old, from Ben Tre) was walking home. When crossing the wooden bridge on Nguyen Van Linh Street (Binh Chanh District) to enter her apartment, she was blocked by Sang.

He is alleged to have overpowered and dragged the girl into nearby bushes, raped her, and escaped with her backpack and phone.

Back home, Ms. Kieu texted her phone, begging Sang to give her phone back because she had many important documents. She promised to "reward" him.

When Sang arrived at the meeting point, he was arrested by the police because Ms. Kieu had previously reported it.
