This year, the Dien grapefruit garden of 100 trees of Mr. Phan Dinh Hoan's family, in Nghia Chinh hamlet, Nghia Lam commune (Nghia Dan), has a tree that has produced more than 200 fruits. It can be said that this is the Dien grapefruit tree that has produced the most fruits ever.

According to Mr. Hoan, he planted this grapefruit tree in 2007. It is 2.5 m tall and has a wide canopy with a diameter of up to 12 m. During its growth, the tree was cared for normally, but every year it always produces fruit that surpasses other trees in the garden.

Mr. Hoan said: To grow Dien grapefruit effectively, the most important step is care. After harvesting, growers must weed, apply manure and organic fertilizers. During the fruit-bearing period, another round of fertilizer must be applied. To have delicious Dien grapefruit, watering the plants is very important, because the humidity in the gardens is different, so care must be taken so that the grapefruit can be harvested in November and December of the lunar calendar.

Dien grapefruit grown in Nghia Dan is an agricultural product that is popular in the market and sells for a good price. In the garden, the price is currently from 15,000 - 20,000 VND/fruit. For every 100 Dien grapefruit trees, each harvest can bring in 150 - 180 million VND./.
