Saving a fisherman drifting at sea in the middle of the night

(Baonghean.vn) - Detecting a distress signal in the middle of the sea, the Border Guard force approached and rescued a fisherman drifting at sea.

At around 8:00 p.m. on December 28, while on duty at sea, the patrol team of Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) discovered at coordinates 19 degrees 17'N -105 degrees 48'E a fishing boat sending out a distress signal because the boat was sinking.

The working group quickly approached and rescued fisherman Nguyen Duy Chien (born in 1982, residing in Than Ai block, Quynh Phuong ward, Hoang Mai town). Mr. Chien is the owner of the vehicle with registration number NA-HM0023 that has beenbrought to shore safely

Immediately afterwards, Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station took care of the fisherman's health and carried out procedures to hand him over to his family at 9:30 p.m. the same day.
