Mr. Sivara said the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) does not acknowledge that former Prime Minister Yingluck is in the UK.

Police are trying to establish when and where these photos were taken.

The Pheu Thai Party led by Ms Yingluck said it was unclear whether Ms Yingluck was in London as her lawyers had been unable to contact her after she secretly left the country.

The party also could not determine whether the above photo was real or fake.

Meanwhile, the National Security Council said it had received initial reports that Ms. Yingluck was living in a private house, but they had yet to determine her whereabouts.

Ms. Yingluck was sentenced in absentia to five years in prison for negligence in a rice subsidy program for farmers, causing budget losses.

Her whereabouts are still unknown and it is believed that the former Prime Minister is seeking asylum in the UK./.
