Provincial leaders encourage and congratulate the New Year to the units on duty during Tet.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of December 31, comrades Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited, presented gifts, and encouraged units of the Finance sector, State Treasury, Tax Department, Customs Department - units that have to work until the end of the year.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The delegation visited the State Reserve Department in Nghe Tinh region. Last year, despite complicated weather conditions and many storms and floods, the unit successfully completed the tasks assigned by superiors, importing an increase in national reserve resources including 14,000 tons of rice and 10,500 tons of paddy to ensure reserves according to regulations.

The warehousing work is carried out in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the law; sufficient in quantity, ensuring quality indicators. The warehousing process does not cause unsafe situations regarding money and goods, maintaining reputation with customers. In addition to essential goods, additional items such as pumps, fire fighting equipment, speedboats, and boats of all kinds have been added to serve the work of natural disaster prevention, preventing people from going hungry.

Speaking to the staff of the Nghe Tinh Regional Reserve Department, comrade Le Xuan Dai highly appreciated the results achieved by the unit, making more efforts than in previous years, supporting food for 4 mountainous districts, and taking care of volunteer activities in the area.

For the Department of Finance, last year was a year of overcoming difficulties in ensuring revenue and expenditure in accordance with regulations, ensuring important tasks and social security.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh praised the outstanding efforts of the Department of Finance in 2017 in performing its tasks and taking care of ensuring life and social security in the area. He requested the Department of Finance to achieve the immediate goal of 2018, which is to ensure the policy salary regime and focus on budget collection right from the beginning of the year.

Congratulating the staff of the State Treasury of Nghe An, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh praised the close coordination of the unit with other sectors and units in synchronously and effectively implementing the tasks, goals, and directions of the Government, instructions of the Ministry of Finance, proactively following the State budget revenue estimates, managing the budget well, controlling expenditures effectively, and without errors.

2017 was the year that Nghe An Customs Department successfully completed the budget collection task, exceeding the planned target of 1,535 billion VND/plan of 960 billion VND. Comrade Chu Quang Luan - Director of Customs Department said that currently the two border gates are still on duty to increase revenue at the end of the year and the good signs from investment attraction are the premise for the industry to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong commended the excellent import-export tax collection results in 2017 of Nghe An Customs Department.

Congratulating the Nghe An Tax Department on the last day of the year, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the sector's advisory work to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee in budget collection. By December 31, 2017, the total domestic revenue was 10,902 billion VND, equal to 112% of the ordinance estimate and 102% of the People's Council estimate.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the Tax sector will continue to advise the province on good budget collection solutions and must have solutions to support businesses and nurture revenue sources for businesses.
