Vinh Urban Sub-project: 7 items completed, 100% disbursement achieved.
(Baonghean.vn) - With decisive direction from all levels and sectors, the Vinh urban sub-project had completed 7 out of 13 bidding packages by the end of 2017.
Specifically, the completed contracts include:Construction of the resettlement area in Hamlet 5, Nghi Phu Commune; Improvement of school sanitation; Upgrading and renovation of the North Canal, Section 1; Upgrading and renovation of Canal No. 3; Upgrading and renovation of the North Canal, Section 2; Upgrading the main pumping station and a new pumping station with a capacity of 10,500 m3/day and the gravity-fed canal leading to the main pumping station; Upgrading and renovation of Cua Nam Lake.

Vinh Urban Sub-project - the journey to completion
(Baonghean) - With great effort, Nghe An province has issued Decision No. 4522/QD.UBND-CN approving the Project for the Development of Medium-Sized Cities in Vietnam - Vinh City Sub-Project, implemented with loan capital from the World Bank (WB) and counterpart funds.
The ongoing construction projects include six packages: North Canal Section 3; Quan Bau Ward Resettlement Area; Construction of the regulating reservoir; Upgrading and renovating the canal surrounding Vinh ancient citadel; Construction of the Hung Tay - Vinh road; Construction of the road connecting National Highway 46 and the Lam River embankment road.

These contracts mainly involve both construction and land clearance work.
The Vinh City People's Committee announced that land clearance has been completed for households in the ancient citadel moat, businesses along the Hung Tay - Vinh road, and most households in Nghi An. The land clearance work was completed in December 2017, on schedule to complete the project before June 30, 2018.
