While carrying "white goods" was arrested by the Mobile Police
Checking the bag on Tuan's person, Hanoi Mobile Police discovered a large quantity of synthetic drugs.
At around 4:00 p.m. on January 3, the working group of the Mobile Police Regiment, Hanoi City Police, led by Lieutenant Tran Van Khoa, was on patrol duty on Ring Road 3, in front of C8 gate of Doan 8 bus station, Hoang Liet ward, Hoang Mai district, when they discovered a young man acting suspiciously.
The working group approached and conducted an administrative inspection and discovered in the young man's handbag 3 small plastic bags containing white crystals, 2 plastic bags containing 195 blue tablets with the letter W on them, and 1 plastic bag containing 100 white tablets with the 6-pointed star symbol.
This young man was identified as Pham Van Tuan (born in 1999, residing in Ha Son, Ha Trung district, Thanh Hoa province).
On-site struggle, Tuan confessed that all the tablets and crystals were synthetic drugs, which he had just bought from an unknown man for 128 million VND, in the area under Nga Tu So bridge. While carrying the "goods" to sell, he was arrested by the mobile police force.
The working group has handed over the suspect and evidence to Hoang Liet Police Station, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi for further investigation.
