Got hit by a lead bullet while working in the field
(Baonghean.vn) - While working in the fields, Mr. Pham Tho Dong was suddenly hit by a lead bullet and currently cannot have surgery to remove the bullet.
On the afternoon of January 8, Mr. Pham Tho Dong (residing in Hamlet 8, Nam Xuan Commune, Nam Dan District) was hit by a lead bullet and was transferred from Nam Dan District General Hospital to the Provincial General Hospital for further treatment.
According to Mr. Dong, on January 5, while he was working in Cua Trang field (Nam Xuan commune), he was suddenly hit by a bullet in his front pants pocket. The bullet penetrated his pants and entered his body.

"At that time, I was in pain, dizzy, and bleeding profusely. I looked around to see who shot me, but because the cornfield was so good, I couldn't see anyone shooting. I am asking the police to investigate and find the person who shot me," said Dong.
Mr. Dong was taken by his relatives to Nam Dan District General Hospital for emergency treatment, but surgery was not performed immediately to remove the bullet from his leg muscles. Therefore, Mr. Dong was transferred to Nghe An Provincial General Hospital for further monitoring.
Doctors said that surgery to remove the bullet is not possible at this time, but the wound needs to be treated for a period of time before surgery can be performed.
According to initial assessment, someone may have used an air gun to shoot birds, causing the bullet to "stray" into Mr. Dong's body.
People in Nam Xuan commune said that currently in the commune, there is a phenomenon of hunters using air guns to shoot birds and animals, causing insecurity for people and destroying the ecological environment.
