Gyeonggi Provincial Council (Korea) visited and worked in Nghe An

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Cao Thi Hien introduced the situation, terrain, climate, and socio-economic characteristics of Nghe An province.

Nghe An is a large province, with the largest area and the fourth largest population in the country. In recent times, the socio-economic, defense and security situation of Nghe An has had many positive developments, and people's lives have improved. Especially in 2017, Nghe An had a growth rate of 8.25%, completing 27/27 set targets.

At the meeting, the two sides openly exchanged experiences in operations and investment attraction policies of Nghe An to create all conditions for investors from Gyeonggi province, South Korea to learn about the potential, advantages and investment opportunities in Nghe An.

"The relationship between Nghe An and Gyeonggi provinces, as well as the Gyeonggi Provincial Council and Nghe An Provincial People's Council, has been built, maintained and developed well by both sides according to the memorandum of understanding on cooperation since 2013. Leaders of both sides regularly have activities to exchange, discuss and work together to promote bilateral cooperation," Ms. Cao Thi Hien affirmed.

On behalf of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council delegation, Mr. Suh Hyung Ryur, Chairman of the Gyeonggi - Nghe An Friendship Association, thanked the warm welcome from the Nghe An Provincial People's Council.

Mr. Suh Hyung Ryur hopes that with the goal of developing the peaceful and friendly cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Korea, in the coming time, Nghe An and Gyeonggi provinces will have more cooperation activities, experience exchange, investment promotion, and more effective cooperation between people and businesses.
