The Government exported 2,897 tons of seeds to support localities affected by natural disasters.
The Government has just issued Decision No. 30/QD-TTg on providing plant varieties (free of charge) from the national reserve to support localities affected by natural disasters in 2017.

The decision, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue on January 8, 2018, assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to provide 2,665 tons of rice seeds, 225 tons of corn seeds and 7 tons of vegetable seeds from the national reserve to support localities affected by natural disasters in 2017 (excluding 30 tons of corn seeds for Da Nang city).
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Da Nang City to proactively use the local budget to support plant varieties in the city.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is responsible for reporting data and allocating the above crop seeds to the provinces in accordance with regulations.
