Southeast Asian fans congratulate U23 Vietnam on historic victory

Many fans from Southeast Asian countries sent their congratulations to U23 Vietnam after their victory over U23 Australia.

In the second match of the group stage of the U23 Asian Cup, U23 Vietnam created an earthquake when it defeated championship candidate U23 Australia with a score of 1-0. The only goal of this match was scored by midfielder Quang Hai.

U23 Vietnam received congratulations from Southeast Asian fans.

After the match, many fans in Southeast Asian countries happily celebrated the victory with Vietnamese fans.

On the official Facebook page of the Asian Football Confederation, account Thakedi Sitt commented: “TYes Myanmar, I would like to send my congratulations to Vietnam. I have strong belief that U23 Vietnam will reach the quarter-finals. I am very proud and will support you. Let's go ASEAN”.

Mohamad Nazrul account wrote: “Waaaa. Congratulations Vietnam. You have made Southeast Asia proud. Greetings from Malaysia.”.

A fan named Iqbal Irfan commented: “U23 Australia played badly today. U23 Vietnam deserved to win. A historic victory for U23 Vietnam. I can't believe it. Hope you guys make it to the quarter-finals.”.

Yan Paing Oo account wrote: “Congratulations Vietnam. Southeast Asia is proud of your victory.”.

Lukman Nul Hakim account wrote: “Now, Southeast Asia has two teams with a chance to enter the quarterfinals, Malaysia and Vietnam. I hope that both teams will reach the quarterfinals.”.

After this victory, U23 Vietnam is ranked above U23 Australia thanks to a better head-to-head record. We will meet U23 Syria in the final round.
