Leading US corporation to build solar power plant in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - The factory is expected to be built at Vuc Mau Lake, Hoang Mai Town.
On the morning of January 16, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with representatives of Centerlink Holdings Group on investing in the construction of a solar power plant in Nghe An.

Attending the meeting, on behalf of Centerlink Holdings Group, there were Mr. Ton That Quang - General Representative of the Group in Asia and some members.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Representatives of a number of relevant departments, branches, sectors and units.
Speaking at the welcoming ceremony for the investor Centerlink Holdings Group (USA), Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh said: Natural energy exploitation projects, specifically solar energy, are very important to Nghe An and Nghe An province highly values and welcomes businesses to invest in this field. The Provincial Party Secretary also emphasized that Nghe An has many favorable conditions in terms of nature, infrastructure, mechanisms and policies for investors to learn about and invest in building solar power plants.

The Provincial Party Secretary thanked and welcomed investors from Centerlink Holdings Group to learn about and invest in Nghe An. The province's viewpoint is to always welcome investors, especially projects that promote socio-economic efficiency; the province commits to providing maximum support to investors to produce and do business effectively.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Director of the Provincial Investment Promotion Center briefly introduced the province's potentials and strengths in attracting investment in Nghe An in terms of natural conditions; infrastructure; socio-economic development conditions; human resources. Especially infrastructure conditions such as industrial parks, airports, seaports, etc. Representatives of departments and branches also introduced and committed to actively cooperate to help investors quickly carry out investment procedures in Nghe An.

Expressing his delight at the spirit and goodwill of Nghe An province to cooperate and invest, Mr. Ton That Quang affirmed that through the process of research and field survey, Centerlink Holdings Group has decided to invest in building a solar power plant at Vuc Mau Lake, Hoang Mai Town. Mr. Ton That Quang said, Centerlink Holdings is a group specializing in investing in the development of clean energy, clean agriculture and other clean technologies.
The group's investment capital in solar power worldwide is about 5 billion USD and on this occasion, Centerlink Holdings Group hopes to bring new technology to invest in Vietnam in many fields, including solar power plants in Hoang Mai town.
The representative of Centerlink Holdings Group also expressed his hope that the province will create favorable conditions and support investors to carry out related procedures as quickly as possible so that they can soon start construction of investment projects.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong expressed his agreement with the proposals of the representative of Centerlink Holdings Group and committed that the province would accompany the investor and choose the fastest implementation plan. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also suggested that Centerlink Holdings Group, in addition to investing in clean energy development, could also invest in other areas where Nghe An has strengths such as clean agriculture, high-tech agriculture, etc.
On this occasion, the leaders of Nghe An province also invited Mr. Ton That Quang to attend the province's investment promotion conference scheduled to take place on the 23rd day of the first lunar month. At the meeting, the People's Committee of Nghe An province and representatives of Centerlink Holdings Group signed a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation to build a solar power plant at Vuc Mau Lake, Hoang Mai Town. Representatives of the provincial leaders also presented souvenirs to representatives of Centerlink Holdings Group.
Previously, on January 15, Mr. Ton That Quang and the provincial departments and branches conducted a field survey at a number of locations in Hoang Mai town.
