(Baonghean.vn) - Although Quynh Luu district has continuously launched campaigns to clear violations of traffic safety corridors, along National Highway 48B, some people still turn the roadway and sidewalks into construction sites and business areas.

On the morning of January 19, along National Highway 48B from Cau Giat town intersection to Lach Quen fishing port (Quynh Thuan), we discovered many households violating and re-encroaching on the traffic safety corridor, some households even brazenly turned the roadway into a "construction site" to gather construction materials and set up tents to open electronics stores.

Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, a resident of Son Hai commune, said that since yesterday, a resident in hamlet 13 (Son Hai) has been carelessly hiring a truck to transport sand and bricks to dump in the middle of National Highway 48 to build a house, causing everyone to be indignant; vehicles passing by have to encroach on the corridor of the resident's house to move. He requested that the authorities inspect and handle the above cases.

The habit of encroaching on roadsides to set up wedding tents and do business also causes disgust and traffic insecurity.

In Hamlet 6, Quynh Ngoc Commune, a business household selling paint, tiles, and electronics named Xuan Hoa Quynh Ngoc brazenly set up a tent encroaching on the road to open a store. The danger is that this area is a curve, so it is difficult for traffic participants to observe, plus the loud sound coming from the store makes passersby lose attention, making it easy for traffic accidents to occur.

The encroachment on the road and sidewalk of National Highway 48B has made people participating in traffic extremely upset; not only does it violate traffic safety laws but it also poses a potential risk of accidents for road users.
