(Baonghean.vn) - Although the upcoming opponent is a strong team, head coach of U23 Vietnam Park Hang Seo believes in the spirit and determination of his Vietnamese players.
Before the match taking place this morning, January 22 in Changzhou (Jiangsu), Coach Park Hang Seo answered on the AFC homepage: “We have only partially researched. Every team has weaknesses, and I have recognized some of Qatar’s weaknesses. However, we will have to research further. Qatar has some dangerous players, and the task of U23 Vietnam is to stop them,” said the Korean coach.

“In fact, since the first match with U23 Korea, we have always been under a lot of pressure. However, the team has tried to achieve good results. Tomorrow’s match (January 23) is even more important for U23 Vietnam. The players and I understand that. Therefore, the team will prepare in the best way,” said coach Park Hang Seo.
“We have actually met 4 very strong opponents. U23 Vietnam is used to having to play against stronger teams. I think our greatest weapon is our fighting spirit. We have overcome any physical difficulties or obstacles with that great spirit. Therefore, U23 Vietnam will be able to continue to play well,” Mr. Park Hang Seo affirmed.
Meanwhile, coach Qatr Felix Sanchez said that U23 Qatar will focus highly on the match with U23 Vietnam. Mr. Sanchez predicted that the match with U23 Vietnam will be very difficult. "We are about to meet a team that has just had a great performance in the tournament. We will have to concentrate to the maximum. I cannot predict what the result will be, the answer can only be given tomorrow," said Mr. Sanchez.

Compared to U23 Vietnam, Qatar has one more day off. However, coach Sanchez said he will only focus on how Qatar will play. "I cannot predict exactly what percentage of Qatar's chances of winning. The answer will only be in tomorrow's match. I can only guarantee that Qatar's players will play at their best when they meet U23 Vietnam," coach Sanchez shared.
Finally, the Qatar U23 coach concluded: “We will try to play our way. Qatar will not change the way we play. We may just make some necessary adjustments. I think tomorrow's match will be very difficult.”
Regarding the squad, Coach Park Hang Seo will not have the service of defender Doan Van Hau. The defender of U23 Vietnam suffered a torn thigh muscle after the match with U23 Syria. This serious injury forced the defender born in 1999 to rest until the end of the tournament.
