Nghe An Outstanding Business Association registers nearly 12 billion VND to support Tet for the poor

(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the appeal letter of the Provincial Party Secretary and the Implementation Plan of the Provincial People's Committee, on the evening of January 22, Nghe An Outstanding Business Association launched the program "Tet for the poor - Mau Tuat 2018".

Attending the event were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches, the Provincial Fatherland Front, and typical enterprises.

In 2017, as a bridge between enterprises and the government, sectors and levels, Nghe An Outstanding Business Association has strengthened cooperation, joint ventures and associations with domestic and foreign enterprises for the development and prosperity of enterprises; Coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee and sectors to promptly remove obstacles and difficulties in production and business activities; Strengthened training and improved qualifications for enterprises and entrepreneurs in the integration period.

Along with that, the association has also actively participated in social security and humanitarian charity activities launched by the province. In particular, responding to the call of the Provincial Party Secretary, businesses have actively participated in supporting Tet for the poor.

Currently, Nghe An still has over 66,000 poor households in the whole province who are in dire need of help to have a warm Tet. Therefore, promoting the role of the community, businesses joining hands, joining hands with the province and other sectors, up to this point, the Association of Outstanding Enterprises has mobilized businesses to register to support nearly 12 billion VND to give gifts to the poor on the occasion of Tet Mau Tuat 2018.

Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh; Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong acknowledged the important contributions of the business community that has strived to overcome difficulties in production and business effectively, contributing to the budget as well as social security activities in the area. Congratulations and deeply acknowledge the dedication of businesses to the overall development of the province. Many businesses, despite still facing difficulties, with great social responsibility, have accompanied, deducted their production and business income, and reduced their legitimate personal income to contribute.

The Tet for the Poor program is held annually to call on organizations and individuals to join hands to help the poor celebrate Tet and has received active support from the business community. Provincial leaders thank businesses for their trust in supporting the province, the poor in particular and the people of Nghe An in general. The province will strive to reform administration to reduce difficulties for businesses, create the best conditions to help the business community produce and do business smoothly, contribute more to the provincial budget and social security activities.
