Sugar bleaching agent is mainly used to reduce insoluble vat dyes to soluble form in alkaline solution for dyeing cellulose fabrics. Sugar bleaching agent can also be used for bleaching silk and supplementary bleaching of cotton fabrics.
In addition, sugar bleach is also used to wash away some types of dyes on fabrics after dyeing, clean dyeing machines or in processes that require color removal (for disperse dyes, direct dyes and insoluble azo dyes...).
