Man City beat Bristol City 3-2 in the second leg of the semi-final, and entered the final with a final score of 5-3.

Second leg goals: Marlon Pack 64', Aden Flint 90' - Sane 43', Aguero 50', De Bruyne 90+2'

Showing their superiority, Man City continued to dominate the second leg on the evening of January 23. After many situations were successfully blocked by the Bristol First Division team's defense, the away team from the Premier League took the lead with two consecutive goals within seven minutes.

Leroy Sane was the one to break the deadlock when he fired a shot after Bernardo Silva's trip, causing the ball to hit a Bristol defender's leg and bounce into the net in the 43rd minute. Early in the second half, the score was raised to 2-0 thanks to Sergio Aguero's diagonal shot.

Sane's close-range shot was too difficult for the Bristol defence.

Not as easily defeated as in the first leg, Bristol took more risks in attacking in the rest of the second half. Partly thanks to their strong aerial play, the home team caused many difficulties for Man City. In the 64th and 90th minutes, Marlon Pack and Aden Flint both scored goals for Bristol after hanging the ball into the visitors' penalty area.

After being unexpectedly leveled, Man City reacted more strongly. Just a few minutes after Flint's goal, Sane broke free and crossed for De Bruyne to tap in, sealing a 3-2 victory for the second leg.

With wins both at home and away, Man City finished the semi-finals with a final score of 5-3. Coach Pep Guardiola's team also won the right to play in the final at Wembley Stadium on February 24.

The remaining final ticket will be decided in another semi-final second leg between Chelsea and Arsenal on January 24. The first leg at Stamford Bridge ended in a 0-0 draw.
