Vinh University's pedagogical students compete to teach directly to high school students

(Baonghean.vn) - On January 23-24, at Ha Huy Tap High School (Vinh City), the Institute of Natural Education - Vinh University organized a teaching contest for students majoring in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Informatics. This is the first time the contest has been held at a high school.

This is an activity in response to the “Vocational Training Month and Pedagogical Competition 2017-2018” of Vinh University. At this competition, the 10 best students from the fields of Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Information Technology will directly teach in classes according to the high school curriculum schedule. On that basis, the jury will evaluate and award prizes to students with good and effective lectures.

The Vinh University Pedagogical Competition for the 2017-2018 school year began in December 2017 with dramatization competitions (greetings, pedagogical knowledge, handling pedagogical situations and public speaking); self-made pedagogical teaching aids competition and teaching competition for 4th year students.

This is also the first time the teaching competition has been held at a high school in the form of a random drawing of lectures, to help students be flexible in organizing lectures and handling situations.

Through this form, students also get acquainted with high school students, preparing good premises for the final year internship. At the same time, it helps the school's lecturers evaluate the training products compared to the requirements of practice.
