Bald men are perceived as stronger and better leaders than other men.

What do you think about having a bald head? Ask 10 people, probably 9 of them don’t like it, simply because in terms of aesthetics, a head with a lot of hair is always better. In addition, a bald head makes people feel older than their age, and that’s enough to make people try to find ways to solve that.

However, in a study published in the Daily Mail, experts concluded that bald men are perceived as more dominant, more athletic and better leaders.

The study's author, Albert E. Mannes, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business — who also happens to be bald — conducted the study on 59 job candidates in 2012.

The study assessed how people responded to pictures of bald men. Each picture was shown twice, once with hair and once with a bald version. People reported that they found the bald men to be more masculine, taller, and stronger.

Tech entrepreneur Seth Godin, who was vice president of marketing at Yahoo, agreed with the findings in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. Bald men are not only more successful but also smarter than average, according to a large-scale study conducted by psychologist Ronald Henss of Saarland University with more than 20,000 participants.

Technology entrepreneur Seth Godin - who was vice president of marketing at Yahoo - also agreed with this result when interviewed by the Wall Street Journal.
