Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan affirmed that, up to this point, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) still has no document on postponing the final match of the U.23 Asian Cup between U.23 Vietnam and U.23 Uzbekistan.

The weather in Changzhou (China) is very bad, the temperature is low so it is snowing everywhere (in some places, the snow is up to 15 cm thick) and greatly affecting the training of U.23 Vietnam.

During this afternoon's training session, coach Park Hang-seo was forced to move the team's training location from outdoors to indoors to prevent player injuries.

With such harsh weather conditions, there was a stream of information that the final match would be postponed. We called Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation and Mr. Tuan seemed quite surprised: "I have been constantly updated and reported by the team about the situation of the players there. The health of the whole team is stable, there are no injuries except Van Hau.

There was no report about the match being stopped. I think AFC is the tournament organizer. If there was anything unusual, they would have immediately sent a notice to the participating teams and especially the teams that will play in the third and fourth place matches; the final match between U.23 Vietnam and U.23 Uzbekistan.

But up to this point there has been no announcement. The U.23 Vietnam team still has to actively practice and prepare for this very important match. In such weather, we can still play.”

AFC representative also just responded to Vietnamese press that, up to now, AFC has not postponed the match and the final matches of the tournament will still take place as usual.
