Driver "unexpectedly" appointed as Deputy of District Party Committee Office
While working as a driver, Mr. Bui Viet Khanh was "unexpectedly" appointed as Deputy Chief of Office of the Dam Doi District Party Committee (Ca Mau province).
On January 25, a source from Dan Tri reporter said that Dam Doi District Party Committee had revoked the decision to appoint Mr. Bui Viet Khanh as Deputy Chief of the District Party Committee Office.
Previously, the Inspection Committee of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee inspected and discovered the appointment of Mr. Bui Viet Khanh (driver), who is a contract employee under Decree 68 and is not a civil servant, as Deputy Head of the Office of Dam Doi District Party Committee.
In addition, at the time of appointment (June 2013), Mr. Bui Viet Khanh did not have a university degree.
Faced with the appointment of an official who did not meet the prescribed conditions, the Inspection Committee of Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee requested Dam Doi district to withdraw the appointment decision for Mr. Khanh.
The authorities also requested to review the responsibilities of individuals and advisory agencies (term 2010-2015) for this appointment.
