Flags and shirts to cheer on U23 Vietnam sell well before historic final match
(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, the Vietnamese national flag and red flag shirts with yellow stars are "sold out" at clothing stores and markets.
After Vietnam defeated Qatar to confidently advance to the final of the U23 Asia, Vinh city people poured into the streets to celebrate and together lived in a frenzied atmosphere with the ball.
Tomorrow afternoon, at 3pm, the historic final match between Vietnam and Uzbekistan will take place, but at this time, flags and shirts to cheer for U23 Vietnam seem to be "sold out".

Ms. Thuy Hien, owner of a sportswear shop in Quang Trung ward, said: "When Vietnam passed the semi-final match, all the red shirts with yellow stars in the store were bought out by a "storm" of people in Vinh city. I have now imported 2 new batches of 1,000 shirts to serve the final match tomorrow."
Many shop owners said that it has been 10 years since Vietnam won the AFF Cup 2008 that the amount of clothes and flags sold was so strong. However, the atmosphere of that day did not last as long as this time. The image of the red Vietnamese flag on social networks after the spectacular victory of the U23 team excited people to go to the shops to buy shirts and flags to cheer for the final match.

Ms. Le Thi Thuy, a trader at Vinh market, shared: "My store imported nearly 2,000 red-star-yellow-flag shirts, along with hundreds of national flags to sell to fans after the victory over Qatar. Currently, the number of flags and shirts has almost sold out. Some units called to order in large quantities, but we had to refuse because we had no more stock."
Ms. Bich, a vendor at Vinh University Market, added: My store currently has no more red flag shirts with yellow stars and large flags. At other stalls, most only have banners, stickers and small flags left.
