Mrs. Hien said that, because of life, recently her husband and she had to go to Binh Duong province to find more work. When the U23 Vietnam team reached the final match of the 2018 U23 Asian Championship, she had to put aside all her work and return to her hometown a day early to join her neighbors and relatives in cheering for the Vietnam team, including midfielder Phan Van Duc, her son, who is admired by many people.

Mr. Vu Van Hau, hamlet 6, Tang Thanh commune shared that although it is the time of the agricultural season, urgently planting spring rice in time for the season, but before the historic event of the U23 Vietnam team entering the final match of continental level, all the people here temporarily put aside their farming work; excitedly, anxiously waiting for the match to start to watch and cheer, adding strength to the home team to win.

Asked about her feelings after the match, Ms. Vu Thi Hien, mother of player Phan Van Duc, was very happy and proud that her son and teammates had tried so hard, despite all the obstacles caused by the harsh weather.
