Enthusiastic fans welcome U23 players at My Dinh Stadium
(Baonghean.vn) - Thousands of Vietnamese fans flocked to My Dinh Stadium to attend the ceremony honoring the U-23 Vietnam players. The program started at 8:00 p.m., but it was not until 9:15 p.m. that the players officially entered the field to meet their fans.

Since the afternoon, the stands of My Dinh Stadium have been full. Outside the stands, the fans are still getting hotter by the minute. They ignore the pouring rain and watch the Led screen outside to honor the U23 Vietnam team.
After more than 5 hours of traveling and greeting fans 30 km long, the U23 players had to shorten their break time to attend the honoring ceremony.
At 9:15 p.m., the players officially stepped onto the field to the enthusiastic welcome of about 50,000 fans present at My Dinh Stadium. Afterwards, the players and the team's coaching staff walked around My Dinh Stadium to greet and thank the fans.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien, and Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha also appeared at My Dinh Stadium with the U23 Vietnam team waving to fans.
At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam presented flower baskets from General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran Dai Quang, and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan to the Vietnam U-23 team in the honoring ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Ngoc Thien said that for the first time in history, the Vietnam U23 team consecutively defeated big names such as Australia, Iraq, and Qatar, bringing glory to the country and people of Vietnam.
The Minister expressed his gratitude to the Party and State leaders for always paying attention to sports in general and football in particular. He also thanked the people of the whole country for supporting the team, and the leadership team for leading the team to today's victory.

Vietnam U23 captain Luong Xuan Truong said he was so emotional that there were no words to describe it. "We haven't had an official meal since this morning, but we don't feel hungry because everyone is always celebrating with us. This is the most memorable moment in our lives," Xuan Truong shared.
The captain of the U23 Vietnam team also said that his biggest impression was that he had created miracles and made Vietnamese fans love football more. "The emotions we brought to the fans were the luckiest thing we could do. I hope the fans will always accompany us so that the team can bring even greater gifts," Truong said.
At 9:55 p.m., on the stage of My Dinh Stadium, player Nguyen Phong Hong Duy had an exchange when singing the song "Belief in Victory" with singers Ngoc Anh and Minh Duc.
