Through a combination of theoretical training in the lecture hall and practical fieldwork, trainees were introduced to several medicinal plants such as Gynostemma pentaphyllum, Silybum marianum, and Gymnema sylvestre, as well as techniques for propagation, planting, care, harvesting, processing, and preservation.

Organizing training sessions helps people in the raw material producing areas quickly access scientific and technological advancements, thereby applying them to production to improve the productivity and value of agricultural products in general and medicinal plants in particular.
