Buying 3 kg of crystal meth for help, received 20 years in prison

On February 2, the Provincial People's Court opened a first-instance criminal trial to try the case of "Illegal drug trafficking" against Le Van Quang (born in 1968), residing in Nghia Hong commune, Nghia Dan.
According to the indictment, on June 28, 2017, Le Van Quang received a phone call from a woman asking him to go to BigC Thanh Hoa supermarket to receive 800 million VND to help him buy drugs. After receiving the money, on June 29, 2016, Quang drove to Que Phong district, met a person named "T" as instructed by the woman to buy 5kg of crystal meth. However, "T" said that if he brought 5kg, he would be severely punished, so he only gave Quang 3kg of crystal meth for 510 million VND.
Le Van Quang brought the drugs and extra money home to hide. At noon that same day, Quang brought the drugs and money to Thanh Hoa to deliver to the woman. When he arrived at Yen Hop commune (Quy Hop), he was discovered and caught red-handed by the Nghia Dan district police task force.
At the trial, Le Van Quang admitted all his crimes. The panel sentenced Le Van Quang to 20 years in prison for the above crime.
