U23 team invites FIFA president to Vietnam
On February 8, President of the World Football Federation (FIFA) Gianni Infantino will fly to Hanoi on a private plane during his visit to Vietnam.

The schedule for the visit has been sent to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). Accordingly, Mr. Gianni Infantino will be in Hanoi for 9 hours on February 8, then take a private plane to another Southeast Asian country.
During his stay in Vietnam, the FIFA President will meet and work with VFF leaders and have a scheduled meeting with Vietnamese government officials.
It is known that the reason FIFA President Gianni Infantino is interested in Vietnam is because of the impressive achievements of Vietnamese football in 2017 when U.20 Vietnam participated in the World Cup finals, the Vietnamese team won a ticket to the Asian Cup finals and in early 2018 the U.23 Vietnam team made a strong impression when reaching the finals of the U.23 Asian Championship.

FIFA's technical departments also asked VFF to report on the tournament organization system in Vietnam as well as youth training.
Mr. Gianni Infantino's official visit to Vietnam shows that Vietnamese football has created a reputation in the international arena. This major event also contributes to raising the level of Vietnamese football.
VFF leaders said that VFF is also ready to welcome FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Vietnam U23 players will have 500 million - 1.5 billion VND to celebrate Tet
A representative of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that up to now, VFF has received 15 billion VND in bonuses from businesses, organizations and individuals to reward U23 Vietnam for winning the runner-up position in the 2018 U23 Asia Championship. VFF pledged to transfer the bonus money to U23 Vietnam as soon as possible so that the players have money to celebrate Tet with their families.
