On February 5, the Secretariat decided to discipline Mr. Le Phuoc Thanh by removing him from the position of Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee for the 2010-2015 term. The Central Inspection Commission decided to conduct the disciplinary process against Mr. Le Phuoc Thanh.
According to the conclusion of the Central Inspection Commission, as the head, Mr. Thanh is primarily responsible for the violations and shortcomings of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for the 2010-2015 term and the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee for the 2011-2016 term.

Mr. Le Phuoc Thanh was born in 1956, hometown Ai Nghia, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam), PhD in economics. From 1983 to 1996, he participated in government work, through many positions from commune to district level.
From 1996 to 2006, he was a provincial official of Quang Nam, holding the positions of Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Prices, Director of the Department of Industry and Finance...
