Activities to visit and give gifts to policy beneficiaries and the poor on the occasion of Tet Mau Tuat

* Nghia Dan DistrictEstablished 4 delegations to visit and give gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families, and poor households in the district.

The delegation visited 2 Vietnamese heroic mothers, 5 wounded soldiers, 1 mother of a martyr, and 8 poor households. At the destinations, the district leaders visited, wished a happy new year, and presented each family with a gift of 1 million VND in cash and some necessities.

* Quy Hop DistrictCoordinated with the District Small and Medium Enterprises Association to organize Tet gift giving to poor households in 10 communes and Quy Hop town. A total of 1,336 gifts were given to poor households on this occasion. Each gift is worth 500 thousand VND. The total value of the gifts is nearly 670 million VND.

* Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Nghe An branchMr. Tran Minh Tinh - Deputy Director visited and presented 300 gifts to the poor in Do Luong and Anh Son districts, each gift worth 300,000 VND.

Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Nghe An branch, donated 300 gifts to the poor in Anh Son and Do Luong.

All of the above gifts were donated by officers and employees of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Nghe An branch, to support the poor on the occasion of Tet Mau Tuat 2018./.

* KX3 Petroleum Depot - Logistics Department of Military Region 4visited and gave gifts to policy families and people with especially difficult circumstances in the area where the unit was stationed.Nghi Kim Commune (Vinh City) and 2 communes Nam Thai and Nam Nghia (Nam Dan District).

At the families, the Party Committee and Commander of KX3 Petroleum Depot - Military Region Logistics Department wished the policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged families good health, to overcome difficulties and rise up in life.

* Standing CommitteeTan Ky District Youth Unionorganized the program "Green Banh Chung Festival" and cultural exchange, giving gifts "Warm and Loving Tet". Here, the teams wrapped and cooked nearly 800 Banh Chung to give to young people and disadvantaged families in the area.

Standing CommitteeTan Ky District Youth Unionalso presented poor students with 1 electric motorbike, 10 bicycles, 69 warm blankets, 138 Party and National flags with a total value of more than 80 million VND.

Nearly 800 green banh chung cakes were completed to give to the poor.

This is the amount of money donated from the 2018 peak emulation campaign for the poor launched by the District Youth Union and the District Youth Union.

Phuong Thao - Nhu Lanh

*Tan Ky DistrictCoordinate with companies and philanthropists in the area to organize Tet gifts for policy families, poor and disadvantaged households in Tan Long, Nghia Hoan and Tan Phu communes.

Comrade Dam Huu Hong - Deputy Secretary of Tan Ky District Party Committee presented gifts to policy families

The delegation presented 50 gifts in Tan Long commune, 42 gifts in Nghia Hoan commune and 5 gifts in Tan Phu commune. Each gift was worth 500,000 VND. In Tan Long commune, the commune's Fatherland Front allocated the Fund for the Poor to support the family of Ms. Hoang Thi Dieu - a poor household in Tan Long hamlet to rebuild her house with 11 million VND, and the commune's Women's Union allocated 4 million VND from the Warm House Fund.

*Tan Ky District Medical Centervisited, wished a happy new year, and gave gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Phi in Dinh hamlet, Nghia Dung commune, Tan Ky district. The gifts included a heater, candy, medicine, and 2 million VND in cash. The district medical center has been taking care of Heroic Vietnamese Mother Pham Thi Phi since 2015.

* Viettel Nghe An Branch(belonging to the Military Telecommunications Group) in coordination with the People's Committee of Que Phong district presented 50 Tet gifts including cash, cooking oil, and MSG worth more than 30 million VND to 50 especially poor households of Chau Kim commune (Que Phong).

Quynh Luu district leaders give gifts to policy families in Quynh Ba commune.

* LeaderQuynh Luu districtorganized 4 delegations to visit and present 24 gifts to 24 families of policy beneficiaries, poor households and children in difficult circumstances in Quynh Ba, Quynh Tam, Quynh Yen and Quynh Thang communes. Each gift is worth 500,000 VND. The district leaders also presented 2 gifts from the Provincial People's Committee to a poor family in Son Hai commune and a 1/4 severely disabled soldier in Quynh Ba commune.
