(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Lo Van Hung, 55 years old, in Huoi Muong village, Tien Phong commune (Que Phong - Nghe An) was hit in the neck by a gasoline saw, causing a severed tendon and exposed trachea... and was hospitalized for emergency treatment on the afternoon of February 7.

Accordingly, at around 1:40 p.m. on February 7, Mr. Lo Van Hung used a chainsaw to cut firewood for Tet. This firewood was swept into the field by floods during the late 2017 flood.
While working, the saw blade suddenly flew out and hit Mr. Hung in the neck. The victim was taken to the Que Phong District Medical Center by his family immediately after.

Doctor Lo Thai Son - Head of the Department of Surgery at Que Phong District Medical Center said: "Patient Lo Van Hung was cut by a saw blade, losing much of his skin and flesh in the neck area, tearing half of his thyroid muscle, exposing his trachea. We have now sutured the wound."
The victim is currently being treated and monitored.
